The administrative control of this division extends over Pong dam lake wildlife sanctuary which was created in 1983 and extends over an area of 207 sqkm, Dhauladhar wildlife sanctuary having an area of 982 sqkm, Dhauladhar nature park which Comes under the category of small zoo extending over an area of 12.5 hac, four 4 monkey sterilisation centres at Msc Sastar in hamirpur district, Msc Boul and Msc Ispur in Una district and Msc Gopalpur in Kangra district and an upcoming bird ringing and monitoring center at pong dam lake sanctuary.
